Take Action Volume 9

Take Action Volume 9

Hopeless Records in coordination with the non-profit organisation Sub City has announced this year's compilation for charity. The double disc features unreleased and exclusive tracks from some of the hottest bands in the scene including Cobra Starship, Bring Me The Horizon, All Time Low, 3OH!3, Taking Back Sunday, Mayday Parade and many, many more.

The compilation release is directly connected to the Take Action Tour now in it's ninth annual year in the US and second in Australia, with the 2009 tour spearheaded by All Time Low and Set Your Goals raising over $17,000 for ReachOut.com.au, an Australian youth service dedicated to reducing youth suicide. This achievement is set to repeat itself off the back of this year's eclectic line-up featuring Ohio's Attack Attack, San Diego's Pierce the Veil and Melbourne's newcomers Dream On, Dreamer.

Review: Take Action Volume 9 is an exclusive-song packed compilation with a variety of up-coming and well established bands, including 3OH!3 and Cobra Starship. Songs featured are covers, originals and my favoruite, acoustics! This complication has something for everyone from pop-punk to indie and dance. The best track? Taking Back Sunday's Swing- skip to it (number 11 on CD2) before listening to the rest of the album, it will hook you in!
