The Wiggles Wiggly Christmas Big Show

The Wiggles Wiggly Christmas Big Show

Christmas is about to come early for the families of Australia and the happiest time of the year is about to get a whole lot Wigglier as The Wiggles today announce the dates and venues for their annual arena and entertainment centre spectacular!

This November and December, The Wiggles will present their Wiggly Christmas Big Show! tour and will perform all across the country, visiting Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, Newcastle, Wollongong and Brisbane.

Featuring much-loved Wiggles songs like -Do the Propeller!', -Toot, Toot!', -Hot Potato' and -Rock-a- Bye Your Bear',you'll also get your tinsel-toes tapping along as The Wiggles perform our favourite Christmas songs.

Joined by Wiggly friends Captain Feathersword, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, and Henry the Octopus, Emma, Lachy, Simon and Anthony will take to the stage with dancing reindeers and even Santa Claus himself. And proving there's 'no business like snow business", in a Wiggly-concert (and Australian Summer) first, it will even snow on stage!

Once again, dancing will be a highlight of the Big Show!, as The Wiggles and their Wiggly dancers take children through a dazzling display of ballet, Irish, Scottish highland, contemporary, jazz, and hip hop dancing. And for all shows during December, The Wiggles and their band will be joined on stage by international special guests The East Pointers, a Canadian folk music group who recently won a Juno Award in December for their album Secret Victory at the 2017 Juno Awards.

With LED screens, a huge, impressive inflatable backdrop and, of course, the Big Red Car, the 1 hour 20 minute show will have families dancing and singing long after the show has ended.

One person who can't wait for the end of year shows is Blue Wiggle Anthony: 'Can you believe that The Wiggles have been entertaining children around the world for over 26 years now. It's so wonderful to see children who once came to see us, now bringing their children to see us perform!

'We love to finish the year seeing all the children of Australia and we can't wait to perform all our favourite Wiggles songs and to have a very merry Christmas with everyone," he said.

It's been another extraordinary year for the world's most successful children's entertainment group. Over the past 12 months The Wiggles have performed 330 shows in 150 locations to over 330,000 fans and The Wiggles hit the headlines in June 2016 when a record 75,000 tickets were sold to their Big Show! tour within the first 24 hours of tickets going on sale.

By the time the Wiggly Christmas Big Show! tour arrives in Australia in November this year, Emma, Lachy, Simon and Anthony will have toured England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, New Zealand, Canada and every state and territory in Australia.

Meanwhile, broadcast on television already in over 190 countries, The Wiggles new TV series -Wiggle, Wiggle, Wiggle!' will debut in Australia and North America this September.

It's a family tradition for many Australians to end the year by bringing all the family and friends to see The Wiggles Big Show! and with this year's Christmassy twist, you'll want to get your tickets soon as they'll sell like… Hot Potatoes!
