If you have ever wondered what goes on behind closed doors at SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, then the new Behind the Scenes tour will no doubt -wet' your appetite. Guests now have a chance to experience first-hand what goes on behind the beautiful display tanks at the aquarium and see areas that the public have never before had access to!
Be one of the first to feed the fish while standing above Shark Valley and see the endangered Grey Nurse Sharks and Lemon Sharks swimming below with their dorsal fins breaking the surface. Enjoy a visit to the Research Laboratory where they test the water's PH and oxygen levels and see where they prepare all of the residents' daily meals in their food preparation kitchen.
This expert-led tour features a trip to see how the aquarium looks after feeding the beloved dugongs, Pig and Wuru, and even includes the chance to the feed upside-down jellyfish!

Ever dreamt of understanding the mysteries of marine life? Or fancied yourself as a bit of a fish fanatic? Get your hands wet with the new Aquarist for a Day course at SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium!
This FIN-tastic experience will have participants spending the day exploring the underwater world with their own personal SEA LIFE expert and will be taken behind the scenes into the daily lives of the aquarists - the keepers of the marine animals.
Prepare the food and feed the amazing creatures in the Bay of Rays exhibit and be amongst the very few people who can say they built a toy for an octopus! Learn about coral propagation, test water PH and oxygen levels of the tanks and even conduct observation procedures for the beloved dugongs.
Participants will also be given their very own Aquarist for a Day shirt to show their friends. This unique Sydney experience will be one to remember!
