The Passion for Fashion Trail will include men's, women's and children's fashion, as well as handmade shoes, jewellery, hats and other accessories.

Sunday 15 April is the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic and to mark this centenary the museum is running a day of activities. Children will be taught about the famous steamship and make their own ship models, souvenirs and giant iceberg sculptures. They will be also given an introduction to the fascinating world of marine archaeology by learning about techniques for unearthing a shipwreck's story. Titanic Tales is run in conjunction with the museum's memorial exhibition, Remembering Titanic - 100 years.

The Wonders of Ancient Mesopotamia is a magnificent exhibition exploring an ancient era of extraordinary invention and innovation. The region of Mesopotamia played an extraordinary role in the development of human civilisation, from which emerged many of the fundamentals of the modern world, including the invention of writing, the 60-second minutes and systems of law and government. Visitors to the exhibition will see more than 170 artefacts that reveal many aspects of Mesopotamian culture, from massive carved stone reliefs depicting scenes of battles and hunting to gold jewellery. |

Enviroweek, a week of action, behavioural change and fundraising for schools around the country, was a great success in 2011 with more than 58,000 students participating across Australia. This year it's set to be even bigger with over 100,000 students expected to take on a green challenge in their pledge to make a difference. |
