Last year enigmatic Australian duo Yuma X turned heads with their cover of Ghoul'sSwimming Pool, claiming the #1 spot on Hype Machine and gathering more than 2.6 millionplays on SoundCloud. Produced in a Sydney home studio, Lucy and Jake today share You Said, the final instalment from their four-track -Home Recordings'EP, now available for free download via Bandcamp. The release comes with the news that the outfit will be joining ODESZA on their upcoming Australian tour next month.
The -Home Recordings'EP is the first body of work to come from Yuma X, made up of the material theyhave been working on since the project began. It follows on from Smoke Trails and Keep Me Up which came off the back of their first original, Matchstick, a slow-burning electronic number that proved the band as a force to be reckoned with.
After accompanying RÜFÜS on their sold-out -You Were Right' tour late last year, as well as support slots for the likes of Sophie and QT, Yuma Xhave kept Australian and international audiences eagerly awaiting a new release.
