TO PERFORM AT THE 16TH ANNUAL ARIA AWARDS

As announced on ROVE LIVE, organisers of the 16th Annual ARIA music awards can confirm that chart topping singing sensation HOLLY VALANCE will be performing at the event on Tuesday October 15th.

Recently named GQ Magazine's 'Woman Of The Year', Holly Valance is currently in the U.K gearing up for the release of her debut album 'Footprints' (released in Australia Oct 21st). When she found out she was nominated for 4 awards (Highest Selling Single, Best New Artist - Single, Best Pop Release and Best Female Artist) Holly insisted on rescheduling her U.K and Japanese promo dates to fly home and perform at the ARIA Awards. This will be her first EVER Australian performance.

Holly Valance's debut single 'Kiss, Kiss' turned out to be one of the biggest hits of the year in Australia, the UK and Europe. It went #1 in the U.K and Australia, and Top 10 in Italy, Germany, Finland, Ireland, Norway, and Spain. The single has just reached double platinum in Australia with combined sales climbing past 1 million units. Her 2nd single 'Down Boy' (out now) looks set to repeat the success.

Craig Campbell - Executive Producer of the awards has said, "We are delighted to lock in Holly to perform on the show as one of this years red hot ARIA nominees."

Holly's current single 'Down Boy' is released this week and racing out of all good record stores. 'Down Boy' was the number 1 most added song in Australia upon release to radio and looks set to follow the huge success of 'Kiss Kiss'.

'Footprints' is out October 21st.
