About a month ago, Mobile Phone Number Portability was introduced in Australia, which means you can change your mobile phone carrier (Telstra, Vodafone, Optus, Orange, etc) without changing your mobile phone number.

Renewing your Domain Name

Do you have your own domain name, like www.getmega.com? It has come to my attention that in the last few months, there are various domain name renewal services vying for the business of renewing the names, (which is done every 2 years).

It can be confusing when you receive these letters, as they are not necessarily from auDA, the body that regulates domain names, and therefore you could be paying more than you need to. Read the article at http://www.auda.org.au/alert_renewal.html if this is relevant to you.
