New Yorker Mustard Relish Glazed Chicken Burger
Makes 4 Burgers
Ingredients
4x Brioche burger buns, sliced in half
2x Chicken breast fillets, sliced into tenders
1x Jar of Barker's New Zealand NY Mustard Relish
8x Slices of streaky bacon
4x Slices of Swiss cheese
1x Cup of rocket leaves
¼ Cup of mayonnaise
Butter to spread
Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius
- Place sliced chicken tenders into a bowl and toss with half a jar of Barker's of New Zealand NY Mustard Relish until fully coated
- Arrange chicken tenders on a lined baking tray and cook in the oven for 10-12 minutes
- Fry bacon in a frying pan while the chicken cooks
- Toast buttered burger buns in a separate pan until toasted on both sides
- Mix the remaining half of the Barker's of New Zealand NY Mustard Relish with mayonnaise to create a delicious burger sauce
- Dollop the burger sauce on each slice of the brioche bun
- Assemble the rest of the burger by adding rocket leaves, sliced Roma tomato, Swiss cheese, chicken tenders and bacon
- Close it up and enjoy every last, tasty bite
